SPL Summer Library Program

Tell Me a Tale Simple Banner.png

We are planning a summer of fun and adventure with this year's theme of 'Tell Me a Tale'.  Join us as we read marvelous stories and tell fantastic tales.   Each child will get the chance to tell their own story through words and/or pictures.

Instead of in-person sessions, for each session, there will be a take-home bag that kids can work on at home.  For each bag/unit, there will be directions to help your child make progress on their own story.  There will also be craft materials and instructions for completing the craft.  And, if parent approved, we will check out a book for the child to be returned when the next bag is picked up.

Unit pickup dates will be June 7, 14, 28, July 12, 28.

For each unit there will be at least one opportunity to meet via zoom where your child (and you) can a) hear a story, b) get help with the craft project and c) talk about the stories being written and/or illustrated.
