2017 Summer Library Program

Children of all ages will explore the theme of making the world a great place to play, work and live in. The Sidney Public Library presents “Build a Better World” during our summer library program. This summer’s theme makes use of the universal appeal of creating, repurposing, and building. Through books, games, and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) activities, participants will discover new ways of looking at the world around them. They’ll have the opportunity to challenge themselves, try new things, and work together to make positive change in the world.

The 2017 Summer Library Program is open to young people, preschool through junior high, with programs, prizes, storytimes, and more. The program will run for 5 weeks on Fridays beginning June 9. The time is 10:00 am to 11:30 am. Registration for “Build a Better World” is in progress. Registrations will be accepted through June 9, but if you wish to order a t-shirt, the deadline is May 23. For more information, stop by the library or give us a call at 712-374-6203.
