Reading Devices Help

Ipads, Nooks, Kindles, Android tablets, laptops and smart phones can all be set up for reading or listening to favorite authors.   The Sidney Public Library can assist you in getting your electronic device(s) set up to download e-books and audiobooks.

On Monday, February 20th, the Sidney Public Library will be offering assistance to people who have new electronic devices and would like to get them set up to download e-books or audiobooks. Between 4:30pm and 6:30pm, staff will be available to assist any patrons interested in borrowing e-books or audiobooks through the library's Bridges program.

People who come to the February 20th session should have already set up accounts with the appropriate vendor (such as Apple, Amazon, Google, Microsoft) because part of the Bridges setup will involve downloading the OverDrive application from the appropriate App Store.  Since the setup of such an account is generally part of starting a new device most people will already have this step completed.

If you are interested in setting up your device for Bridges, but are unable to attend the February 20th session, you can call the library to make an make an appointment.
